Neales offer a composting facility at the Clayton Hall site - Red Rose Composts.
Neales obtain the feedstock material for all our compost from bona-fide sources which are required to be as free as possible of residual animal by products, kitchen waste or domestic kitchen waste.
Most is received from Household Recycling Centres (HWRCs) where there is control over materials deposited as 'Green Waste'. Other materials where necessary for manufacturing synthesised products are sourced only from known audited suppliers.
The transformation of 'Green Waste' to compost is meticulous and effective. Great care is taken at each stage from reception of waste, preparation, batching, shredding, screening and maturing right through to packaging and sale.
Red Rose Composts are audited by independent auditors and are subjected to either PAS100 or BS3882 evaluations by accredited laboratories. These tests ensure the composts are pathogen clear. Red Rose Composts are designed for a better growing environment.
